Antamina es una de las minas mas grandes del Peru, se explota a tajo abierto, mide 2.000 metros de largo, 1.000 metros de ancho y 500 metros de profundidad, es una de las mayores productoras de concentrados de cobre, zinc, molibdeno y subproductos de plata y plomo.
