Municipal Waste in Kraljevo, Serbia

Waste management has not been dealt with appropriately in the Municipality of Kraljevo, as there is no integrated waste management system. Waste is disposed off by dumping, without any prior selection or treatment, and recycling is almost non-existent. This is harmful to both people’s health and the environment and the disposal of the waste without utilization of the energy and materials' potential is seen as utterly irrational.
