Razlog Regional Landfill, Bulgaria


Local people are opposed to the location of a regional landfill sited too close to Banya village, Razlog, and just a few meters away from Dragalishtitsa River. The environmental impact assessment report was only formally subjected to public discussion, when in fact local residents were not properly informed about the project and the oppotunities to participate in public hearings about it.
