El proyecto minero Tres Valles involucra la explotación de dos minas, una subterránea, Papamono y una a tajo abierto, Don Gabriel, ubicadas en las comunas de Illapel y Salamanca, respectivamente. Más la compra de mineral a terceros, para alimentar una planta de procesamiento a razón de 5.000 t/día aprox.
