Description:

El Lago Lleu lleu se encuentra en la Region del Biobio a unos 150 Km al sur de Concepcion. En 2003, el empresario Jaime Troncoso consiguio socios de la compañia mexicana Manto Rojo, con el fin de explotar los minerales denominados tierras raras, entre estas, rutilo, vanadio y escandio, que se habian detectado años antes en las inmediaciones del lago y los territorios mapuches aledaños.
